World Refugee Day 2018 is around the corner, on June 20th.
It honours the strength and courage of refugees and encourages public awareness and support of the refugees, people who have had to flee their homelands because of conflict or natural disaster.
As you may know, Turkey welcomes 3,5 million Syrian refugees of which 1,5 million are children.
Despite many measures taken by the government and many NGO doing admirable work on the ground, the crisis is big and a lot more needs to be done.
According to the Turkish Ministry of National Education, over 350,000 children still remain out of school. These children and adolescents are particularly vulnerable and at heightened risk of isolation, discrimination, child labour and child marriage.

Providing jobs and helping those mothers seemed like a drop in the ocean giving how massive the refugee issue is in here.
We decided that we should contribute to and help the children on top of providing a livelihood for mothers. That is why as of today we start donating a portion of our sales to support charities helping Syrian refugee children.
We love to support non-formal education activities to prevent a “Lost Generation” of Syrian children and also charities providing for those kids basic needs.
