Amigurumi is the art which originated in Japan of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed creatures. The word amigurumi itself is derivated from Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.

Of curse only your imagination is your limit you will find all kinds of amigurumis from stuffed animals to dolls, fruits and veggies and other characters or even objects. You will find them used as soft baby toys or more of art toys more fragile and meant to be displayed and are not suitable for small children.
